Sitting at work under the harsh fluorescent tubes - the only complaint I have with my current job - I bop my head in time with Deep Dish pounding in my ears. The normal hurly-burly of a Monday is compounded by the imminent release of our largest project to test. I sit surrounded by a flurry of developers working on this project - the lone island of calm (albeit bopping away to the tunage in my head) amidst the 'last leg' stress.

My nickname on MSN lately has reflected my moods - generally pretty awesome. Sh*t is getting done, and I am all over it. I can hardly believe the speed at which the days are going by. Take for instance today. Sure, perhaps I didn't even get around to strolling into the office until just before noon, but since then it's been a well-paced day. It feels kinda like a loping cheetah: only a maintainable jog to me, but distance is covered at a very good pace.

Outside of work, everything else is going well too. Contract stuff in its final phases, and social life is purring along smoothly in line with everything else. Sure, perhaps there are those who have not been given enough attention of late, but we're in the process of remedying that.

Contentment is the watchword all 'round these days. Nice!
