I do so love Seattle! Of anywhere in the northwest of the continent, I think Victoria and Seattle would be the only 2 places I would like to live. Victoria because of the history I have with it, and Seattle because it is just a great place to live!
Steve, Kenzie and I went down to visit our CSTO friends for the weekend. It was a beautiful weekend, with the sole problem that I only got to hit up *one* of my favourite restaurants; there are so many in Seattle that I love.
That's not to say that we didn't eat well; on the contrary, we ate wonderfully well thanks to Softie's unbelievable cooking abilities, and Hank's knowledge of great Seattle restaurants that surpasses my own.
In addition, our minds were fed well, too. Hank took us all to an exhibit at the
Henry Art Gallery. It was fabulous, and I whole-heartedly recommend looking into James Turrell. His light scultures were absolutely amazing! I don't know if an artist has impressed me so much since Salvador Dali.
So, the weekend was great. Thirteen wonderfully close friends spending seriously quality time together. I only wish Christmas was this good!
